👉 What is the most important thing for you when working with a Recruiter?

The most important thing is the recruiter's understanding of the personality of the person I am looking for to join my team. This is 90% of success. Sometimes soft skills are needed more than hard skills, even when we have specific requirements for hard skills. In my opinion, the perfect candidate does not exist, so we need to understand who the right person is and then develop them to where we need them to be within the team and company culture.

👉 What would you need from a Recruiter to help you with hiring effectively?

I need them to understand the kind of personality I am looking for. That they know the team they are hiring for and if not in detail, at least superficially. They definitely need to understand the role we are looking for and accordingly select the right candidates who will either apply themselves or who will in turn be approached. We work on this the most in the early stages of the search.

👉 Can you remember a Recruiter that was really great to work with? What were they like? Why was it that you enjoyed the collaboration?

I have to say that our current recruiter, Eliška, is really very capable and I dare say a very pleasant first contact person for candidates who don’t know us yet, which is quite important. Combined with our HRBP Eliška II, they make an uncompromising pair, thanks to whom we always find the profile we need. It's never on the first try, and often not even on the second, but in my opinion, it is fundamentally important to listen to their feelings, and comments and use their experience, which I always do and it pays off.
