👉 What is the most important thing for you when working with a Recruiter?

The two most important things for me are: a good recruiter should have an overview of current market events, companies, and their situation, and ideally also have a network of contacts for candidates.

Even more important is that the hiring manager and recruiter understand what kind of candidate we are looking for and need. Example: we may be looking for a person to fill a senior Java developer position, but that's not enough. It's important to understand what profile that person should ideally have: do we need more of an innovator or are we looking for someone to maintain and improve the product that's already there? We're looking for someone who is comfortable moving from project to project or someone who will build the product that the company is building its future on in the coming years, etc.

A good recruiter understands this and can find the right candidates so there is a "fit", but also can properly motivate them and convey those expectations.

👉 What would you need from a Recruiter to help you with hiring effectively?

Good, fast, open communication, a set process, and ideally a good software/application that makes the whole process easier. For example, at Pricefx, we use JobScore for the candidate database and hiring process management. It's convenient for the hiring manager to have all the information in one place, to see where the hiring process is, etc.

👉 Can you remember a Recruiter that was really great to work with? What were they like? Why was it that you enjoyed the collaboration?

Absolutely! 😊 I had a great time working with our internal recruiting team at Pricefx - Dominika and Lukas. The first reason is that for a company of a certain size, having your own internal recruiting team has its undeniable advantages over working with an external agency. But the main reason is that our recruiters have a good overview of the local IT market and candidates, they can understand our requirements and thanks to intensive communication and set processes that we are refining, we are very efficient in hiring and can move quickly. And last but not least, they both have a good sense of humor. 😊

👉 What is the most important thing for you when working with a Recruiter?

The most important thing for me is to agree on what kind of candidate we are looking for and what we expect from him. Then, when they deliver the candidates to us, they should meet more or less the criteria we agreed on. It is also important that the position and job description have the right remuneration. So that we don't differ from the market.

👉 What would you need from a Recruiter to help you with hiring effectively?

A properly targeted campaign. For example, when we are looking for people to join our company, I don't think the engineer type is looking for a job on jobs.cz. It is important to promote a targeted campaign and mention important people with whom the candidate would like to work.

👉 Can you remember a Recruiter that was really great to work with? What were they like? Why was it that you enjoyed the collaboration?

I have a good time working with our very own Dominika.
