👉 What is the most important thing for you when working with a People Partner?

Something I expect from both the candidates as well as the People Partner who is collaborating with me is the inner drive and passion that is most important. You can teach other things but this is something that needs to come from within.

👉 Can you remember a People Partner that was really great to work with? What were they like? Why was it that you enjoyed the collaboration?

For me, it’s always been the ones who also cared proactively about the internal team that we already have. I also enjoy collaborating with those who are not afraid to come up with ideas and think out of the box.

👉 What would you need from a People Partner to help you with hiring effectively?

The most important, of course, is to identify the talent. But while hiring, you also need to think about other aspects than just hard skills. Skills aside, experience aside, I need our People Partners to help me see what kind of person the candidate is now and who they can actually become in the future if they join and we get to work together.

In my opinion, good recruiters recognize experience and technical skills. The best ones recognize team fit and culture match as well, though.
